Liposuction can remove excess fat in around the chin and neck. It does not remove the sagging of muscles in the neck or jowling. However, removing the fat results in a more defined and youthful angle under the chin. Liposuction canulas are inserted through very small incisions under the chin and both ears and after the gentle removal of an appropriate amount of fat, the incisions are closed with fine suture.
